I would like to read it every hour.. but I want to prevent it running out of battery and having to get the wate rprovider at my door replaci...

Re: New RFXtrx433E USB transciever
For anyone interested.. I ordered a couple and the maximum you can use with the rfxcom is 3 sensors (they all have the same ID). I put the one I have left on marktplaats for anyone who is interested. They work pretty well, but the outdoor one can give odd readings at times.. the indoor one works gre...

Re: Control the RFXtrx433 from Linux Command Line?
For the transmit part I use a piece of C code that I found somewhere on the web.. that part seems to work fine.. for the receiving end I use a little perl script.. I pretty much monitor /dev/ttyUSBX and once a transmission is made I pick it up in the perl script. However all the configuration etc I ...

Re: Control the RFXtrx433 from Linux Command Line?
Thanks for your reply..
Using mono is not really an option on embedded devices.. besides that wouldn't be command line
I saw their support page.. but I am looking for a CLI program.. not for a all in one solution like Domotiga..

Control the RFXtrx433 from Linux Command Line?
I Got myself the RFXtrx433... and I must say.. it's an interesting box.. I see lots of signals going by from my remotes.. however I want to use it to control some of my click-on-click-off devices.. With the SDK you can pretty much create anything you want.. but before I get really busy on programmin...

Re: Does ClickOn - Clickoff TPC-300 work in linux?
I think that might be a better choice indeed..
Once thing confuses me.. There is a order number 10104 and 10105.. will they both work from linux? If so.. why would anyone buy the 10104.. since the 10105 seems to support more devices...

Re: How easy is it to control RFXCOM products from linux?
Steve, Great! Thats what I wanted to hear.. :) I am bit unsure which transmitter to order.. the 433 mhz one or the 433 mhz with the extra text saying "This RFXmitter can only be used by the Homeseer RFXCOM plug-in, Girder or xPL!". It seems like these units both support different protocols...

Watchbot - Was sold by groupon - AKA Foscam
Hi, I got myself a Watchbot camera via Groupon.. and I must say.. for 49 euro you get a lot of camera.. it can pan/tilt (not zoom!).. has an integrated motion detection and you can quite easily script it from linux.. (so you can have it move to certain positions or in my case have it shoot a panoram...
