Re: Low battery with Homeseer
Hello, Unfortunately, I do not use the RFXCOM but a Zibase unit which transmits the battery info either with OK or LOW to Homeseer. There is no option in Homeseer to make a direct check with the LOW indication, therefore my desire to have a dedicated script , where for example we could add a delay (...

Low battery with Homeseer
Hello,
I am a beginner for Homeseer scripts and I would appreciate some help for the following:
I have several Oregon temperature sensors and would like to test once a week if the battery are low and then send me an Email .
Could someone give me some help writing a script ?
Many thanks

Re: CNY70 and gasmeter
Thanks alot for your reply. I am still stuck ..... http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/713/gasmeter.jpg/ I tried the CNY70 with a lower resistor 100ohms instead of 220 , it is better but still too difficult to adjust . Does anyone know an alternative to the CNY70 that would see the small "mirr...

Re: CNY70 and gasmeter
Hello,
Do you know if it is possible to install a hall sensor on my meter :

If yes, which hall sensor would work ?

Homeseer + Oregon battery + Connexion
Hello, I am a beginner for Homeseer scripts and I would appreciate some help for the following: I have several Oregon temperature sensors and would like to test if the battery are low but checking if the device associated to the temperature are giving the same exact value ( let's say 25,2°C) at 3 di...

Re: CNY70 and gasmeter
Thanks to all ! So based on all answers, I should have some good results if I just change the Led resistor value to somethink lower than 220ohms as my power supply is only 3.3v and because intensity matters through this Led. Some members got good results with the CNY70 so it should work with my conf...

Hello rene,
could you confirm your resistor and supply voltage values if your system is working fine ?
Thanks

Re: CNY70 and gasmeter
Thanks a lot
It means that the sensibility will increase if the voltage is increased from 3.3 to 5V ?
Do I keep the same 220 ohms and 47K resistors ?
Thanks

Re: CNY70 and gasmeter
Hello,
I connected the CNY70 using the following diagram
http://www.flickr.com/photos/igorgm/2486110065/
but instead of using an Arduino, I used an IPX800 v3 with :
3.3v instead of 5v
Gnd for both
First digital enrtry for the Ipx800 which is a counter
Thanks for your help!!

CNY70 and gasmeter
Good morning I have been working on the installation of the CNY70 on my gasmeter which has a reflective surface on the zero (not the six digit) The link is made to one digital entry (impuls counter) of an IPX800 v3. Everything works fine when i pass a small aluminium sheet under the CNY70 . The coun...
