Re: Firmware 5.28.9
ozwcp is not part of the standard software on toon. You can install it though, and then access is through a standard http browser.

Re: node red-extract rrd data
If that's code, it certainly looks like sh*t. Linefeeds, indentation, comment, anyone?

Re: ZonOpToon alternative
Accuracy in this case has nothing much to do with the way the data are recorded/transmitted. The more accurate meter will give you a number closer to e.g., 10kWh when your energy production is exactly 10kWh. If your data transmission is perfect, but the meter itself is 2% off, a more accurate meter ...

Precision is nice, but the big question is: Which one is the most accurate?TheHogNL wrote: So the data from the qubino is far more reliable and more precise.

Re: Toon water usage (available on Quby site)
The boxx-version of Quby's thermostat hasn't quite reached the level of market penetration that toon has. Keep an eye on 2dehands.be, but you may need to buy a complete system (after which you can flog the display etc. again). And, for the time being, Belgium is a far away country right now. Not sur...

Re: Toon water usage (available on Quby site)
Yup, that one. When you get one, just hook it up to your toon, and configure for water measurement. Works out of the box. But the success of the installation is very much dependent on the type of water meter that you use. For mine (an Elster from Brabant Water) I installed the pulse generator (also ...

Re: usb-serial
When the newer version of busybox was introduced, I made a set of packages for Toon1 including getty and a host of other features that were disabled. They're still in the files section of this forum. But as TheHogNL said: You can screw up your toon if you get the installation wrong. Not for the fain...

Re: ZonOpToon alternative
Depending on the type of S0 contact you can just attach a lead along the lines of the sketches drawn in this thread. If you S0 contact is potential free, you will also need a power supply to your contact, and wire it such that you have active low pulses with time intervals proportional to instantane...

Re: Modification of firmware
If I understand correctly, what you need is the interface firmware on your OTGW and a piece of code on your raspi that drives your boiler, such that the raspi controls the boiler through the OTGW?

Re: toon rooted
Any use of the USB port requires a kernel rebuild. Not that hard to do, just tedious. All data available to toon pass through getDevices.json, after which they are filtered , downsampled and stored. For toon1 I built the openzwave library and the (very beta) user interface some time ago. Using that,...

Re: toon rooted
My toon is rooted. Congratulations Can I get more data from my "smart meter" via Zwave ? (today PV system was installed) So can I read the data directly via cat /dev/zigbee or something like that ? Yes you can, if you have an extra production kWh meter installed (zwave kWh meter by Qubino...
