Re: ELV MAX! protocol description
Are you planning to release your software open source? do you think a porting to linux could be done? :) Hi Massi, I am not a developer who wants to hide his software, so when it's stable anyone who wants it can have it. It's written in C#.NET so in theory it should be portable to linux using mono....

Re: ELV MAX! protocol description
Sorry can't help you there. I don't use Homeseer. I have written a MAX! gateway myself (as a windows service) which acts on MQTT messages and translates them to commands which are then sent to the MAX! cube. In that way I can choose any domotica controlling software I like without the necessity to c...

Hi Massi, I know of (and have implemented in my Max gateway) the following commands: 0x10 Thermostat Week Program 0x11 Configure Thermostat (eco temperature, maximum setpoint temperature, minimum setpoint temperature, temperature offset, window open temperature, window open duration) 0x12 Configure ...

Re: ELV MAX! protocol description
Has anyone found a good walkthrough for SENDING command? I can only send "temporary" command, but not weekly program.. You can send a weekprogram with the S: command. The data bytes are (values in hex here): /// 00: 00 ; always 00 /// 01: 00 or 04 ; 04 if a roomid is used, otherwise 00 //...

Re: Remote control which allows direct usage of the buttons
I think that is possible using most Home Automation solutions that have decent ZWave support. For DomotiGa, see for example Aeon Labs Minimote . Thanks for the link, emvee. What I gather from the link, you have to perform some tricks and have the right firmware to be able to use the buttons on the ...

Remote control which allows direct usage of the buttons
Does anyone know of a Z-Wave remote control which allows direct usage of the buttons on it? Let me clarify that. I have a remote control from AEon Labs which has a couple off buttons. I can program the remote control so that the buttons activate a scene or a specific ZWave device. But I don't want t...

Re: ELV MAX! : Wall thermostat and Cube
My experience with the previous ELV system (FHT) is that batteries, if of good quality, last for about 1-2 years. I think I changed them once a year to keep ahead of problems with empty batteries at times you certainly don't want them to occur (for example its freezing outside and you arrive in a co...

Re: ELV MAX! : Wall thermostat and Cube
you are right, but i read (i think in the max documentation) that they advise to leave radiator thermostat all open in summer, for calcium itself! So what's the right way? :) What you read in the documentation is not the same as what I meant :) In the documentation they advise to open the valve com...

Re: ELV MAX! : Wall thermostat and Cube
I think you have to remove the device in the Max software itself, because they no longer exist which will result in communication errors. But I would advise against removing the batteries from the radiator thermostats since they have a built in mechanism to shortly open and close again once a week. ...

De Max werkt hier verder prima en het systeem kost nieuw al maar de helft (of misschien nog wel minder) van Danfos.

Re: eQ-3 Max! Cube Setup problems
If your router has assigned an ip-address through DHCP, then it seems that there is, or has been a connection with the cube. Have you tried disabling the firerwall altogether temporarily to ensure that it's not doing something you don't expect? You could try to send the hello broadcast message to th...
