Re: X10 filter technology
Hey, I only have one Xanura filter placed before my HTPC, TV and amplifier in the living room. But since we have new washing and drying machines I have problems with X10/A10 signals. I intend to but some more filters and place all equipment behind filters. Like: - desktop pc - wash- and drying machi...

Eaton stops XanuraHome production?
The AWM2P is connected the same way as de SAIX12 (fase connected directly to the momentum switch. Xanura released that not very long ago. So maybe there will be a DAIX12 like version also and is Marmitek getting the same specs? The housing is the same, so you would expect it's from the same factory?...

How do I use the BSX1 (MS13) motion detector properly?
Longer timers should work! I watched the X10 videos on the internet and all look so fancy. But in real live is not working that good. Better make things run on the background... In the last three years I did not have one defect module, but some are saying they have up to 4 or 5 broken a year? I spen...

How do I use the BSX1 (MS13) motion detector properly?
Oke, and thats always working? Never watching TV and the lights turning off? I'am also in doubt if X10 is realy a good enough product for a domotica system. A lot of people are complaining in this forum. A lot of broken Xanura modules etcetera. But it's one of the only products that can be installed...

How do I use the BSX1 (MS13) motion detector properly?
Hello, Motion detectors seem to be a lot of fun, but I can't find some good uses for it. It's OK for the frontdoor light to switch on at dusk or swith when entering the door. But using it in a room never worked for me. When I place one in the toilet the light switches ON. But I (and visitors) have t...

How to turn off PC's when leaving the house with Xanura/X10?
I also read that just connect an RJ45 jack to an USB cable should
work up to 25 meters?! Worth trying, just cut two old cables!
And in de scenario make a timer long enought for de PC to shut down
and then turn OFF the actor.
That should be it

How to turn off PC's when leaving the house with Xanura/X10?
Mmhh... I have installed my CM15 in the cupboard. It gave the best signal quality to reach of devices. So it's not permantly connected to my PC. But using ActiveHome could do the trick. I already thought about connecting it over ethernet. But USB to ethernet is quite expense for the job it does. But...

How to turn off PC's when leaving the house with Xanura/X10?
Hello, I have automated almost all my lighting in the house with Xanura modules. So I created an "HOME" and "AWAY" scene to switch off al lights when leaving the house and turn on some lights when I come home. My problem is that I want to turn my HIFI and TV set on and off also. ...
