To enable the backlight, this is what I do after upgrading Firmware.
Lift the Isense from the base plate a few seconds.
After replacing it, the background light will work.
Control and confirm the date/time setting, and the Isense will recognize the OpenTherm smart power.

Re: OTG, Isense and Remeha Avanta 35c Combo.
@tyfoon,
I assume you are using the TP-Link 703N to connect the OTG to the network?
This because you connect to IP & port 1001. (standard on startup script in the TP-Link703N Firmware that is delivered)
What if you connect the OTG on a laptop/PC trough USB?

Re: Opentherm Gateway 4.0 alpha/beta testers wanted
DatafoxChris,
I will call the Nefit support line tommorow to see if that is possible.
If I have the time and don't forget it...
I will ask if the EMS-OT converter can pass / report the setpoints for cv and hot water from the UBA2/3 (Smartline)

Re: Opentherm Gateway 4.0 alpha/beta testers wanted
Isn't it so that the Nefit boiler has a physical button for setting the boiler water temperature and warm water temperature? I wonder whether it is software adjustable? I know practical situations nefit boilers are externally controlled by a 0 .. 10V signaal based on power , but not by changing the ...

Delete all alternative Data-ID's
I know that I can delete alternative Data-ID's, using the DA command. Than I have to know which ID's I have used in the past. But when I forgot some of the alternative data-id's that I have used in the past, how will I know that they are there? Is there a command to clear / delete all these alternat...

I have read some reactions on this forum that it should be working:

as long its a external powered Usb hub.

Re: OTG, Isense and Remeha Avanta 35c Combo.
@afeskens, I have a Isense working with the OTG perfect since a year. To allow the OpenThermGateway to override the room temperature setpoint on an iSense you have to do the next thing: On the iSense open the menu goto "instellingen" -> "installateur" -> "Externe toegang&quo...

Re: OpenTherm Gateway LAN/WIFI model
- The unit is more sensitive when using WIFI as opposed to a wired LAN connection; I can run the LAN for hours, even without a HUB, while WIFI will fail after 5 - 30 minutes This could be true! A little year ago, I have build the OTG and was using de TP-Link 703N to connect it to the LAN. I have sp...

Re: Which Thermostat
What is the best thermostat to work with the opentherm gateway? I like to dump my iSense (setpoint override issues) I also use the Isense room thermostat. Since the latest versions of the firmware the Isense and OTG working fine together. :D I can also temporarily adjust the temperature by Vera-Lit...

Re: Opentherm Gateway 4.0 alpha/beta testers wanted
I have noticed that when the outside temperature is 0°C or below, I got the next result: 2013-11-20 05:47:02.573 T001B0000 (Thermostat: Read-Data Outside temperature (°C) = 0.00) 2013-11-20 05:47:02.672 BC01BFFFF ( Boiler: Read-Ack Outside temperature (°C) = 256.00) On the I-sense I have the correct...
