it may be that in the new firmware 1.4.1, the commands have changed in their byte protocol?

Thanks

my "simple" commands (manual temp set) still work. What commands are you referring to?

No, you'll not get excused.
For that, you need to add to you blog the protocol description of the s: command :)

Re: ELV MAX! protocol description

Hello, Regarding wall thermostat (device type = 3), the L message contains 12 bytes. Length is 12 (of course :-) ) and last byte represents the real temperature x 10. 0xaf => 175 => 17,5 degrees Philippe Don't know if you have a new type wall thermostat Philippe, but my wall thermostat L message is...

Re: Re: Heater question

i think simply it's not a thermostatic valve..
afaik, all thermostatic valves has a "small pin" that has to be pushed or release to control valve aperture.
And MAX radiator thermostats work in that way.
Yes, you need to change the valve :)

Re: ELV!Cube PHP Library

I don't think silent is reading this anymore.. But if you want a starting point, find attached my cube class. It reads info from the cube and builds a "structured" array by room. It also sends commands to the cube, but since i'm not working on it since months (no time..) it manages only &q...

Re: ELV MAX! protocol description

I have written a MAX! gateway myself (as a windows service) which acts on MQTT messages and translates them to commands which are then sent to the MAX! cube. ahahaha so i'm not the only one in the world using MQTT for domotica projects :) i'm using it on my Raspberry for other things.. i'm managing...

Re: ELV MAX! protocol description

yeeeeeee i was missing this!! 02: command ; 10 = week profile configuration so this is 10 for week and 40 for working mode. Now i'm expecting at least another code to send device configuration.. It seems to me that for week profile configuration the rf address of devices is useless.. Thanks a lot!

Re: MAX! Variable boiler temperature

i think that what they learn is "how much i have to be open to keep a temperature" and i really doubt this can be learned depending on the time of the day. but what you describe is quite a common situation. in all buildings with "common heating system" this is the way boiler work...

Re: ELV MAX! protocol description

I considered that, but I do not think there is any way to update the valve position directly. AFAIU you can only change the set temperature, which causes the thermostat to update the valve position appropriately. Since there is some kind of controller system (probably some kind of PID controller) t...
