Re: Thanks to RFXrtrx433E & Bert :)

DomotiGa can control the Somfy RTS blinds using the the RFXrtrx433E, see https://domotiga.nl/projects/domotiga/wiki/RFXCom#Somfy

DomotiGa is open source so feel free to have a look at CRFXComTRX.class

Re: Updated RFXmngr and firmware

How is the sound volume ? Is it loud enough, do you hear it when you are in another room in the house ? The volume has three levels and for all three levels I can hear it in the other side of the house. And what about the reach/distance, is it comparable with Coco (KlikAanKlikUit) ? Not sure about ...

Re: DomotiGa @ pcduino

Thanks Gilles to confirm this is working for you and what you did to get it working. All: There is a DomotiGa wiki page on pcduino and it would be great if you can add your tips and tricks here: pcDuino Board . That way you can benefit and get feedback on how to make the best system based on pcduino.

Re: VisonicSensors icm RFXLan

Had a better look in the source code and database and think you should try:

Code: Select all

Protocol   = X10SecMotion
DeviceType = Visonic K980
Interface  = RFXCom Receiver
Address    = MOTION[D265C7]S

Re: VisonicSensors icm RFXLan

Hi Ben,

On your second point, based on the error message:
17:26:20 [Devices] Device with type 'MOTION', address 'MOTION[D265C7]S' and interface 'RFXCom Receiver' not found!
I would say, try 'MOTION[D265C7]S' as address.

Re: domotiga 1.0019 pasword hashing not working

Yes, from your description it looks like DomotiYii is not writing the right password hash to the database.

If you want to debug things, have a look at domotiyii/protected/models/Users.php

Re: No drivers in linux kernel

@thomas7: Thanks for these instructions! I have added based on it some text on https://www.domotiga.nl/projects/domotiga/wiki/Devices_ZWave_Aeon_Labs_Stick_S2 but things are not 100% clear to me: symlink it to /lib/modules/3.0.36/build Where do you have to do this? just make the cp210x.ko module how...

Re: Updated RFXtrx433 firmware

Eurodomest (NL - Action) added
Just wondering, which products are supported by this?

Eurodomest seems to be the company behind the Calex range of lighting products but the site is a bit too overwhelming to check if one of the lamps support 433 MHz control.

Re: Remote control which allows direct usage of the buttons

I think that is possible using most Home Automation solutions that have decent ZWave support.

For DomotiGa, see for example Aeon Labs Minimote.

Re: No drivers in linux kernel

Ubuntu--> something strange with php installation / apache .. not getting it working correctly within the domotiyii interface. A bit too less information to say anything useful (at least for me). Questions: * Did you follow the instruction on https://www.domotiga.nl/projects/domotiyii/wiki/Installa...

H Ronald,

Never worked with Simulation/Holiday-mode but how to enable "log to database" you can find on Devices#value_options.

Success!

Re: Arduino based plugs and wall switches

Guessing you want to use Arduino because you like to build things yourself, the Dimmer-Arduino could be a good start.

It looks like there is no ArduinoPlug (like the SheevaPlug) but on the other hand, if you like to use Arduino, some wiring and soldering should be part of the job.

Hi Emile,

I was trigger by "water quality", I think you meant "water quantity".
In the mean while a bit further?

If not, have a look at the RFXtrx User Manual under the "Power, gas water metering" header for some idea's.

Re: Clean Database - delete records older than x days

Must be doable by logging in to the database: $ mysql -u domouser -p --database=domotiga mysql> show tables; mysql> select * from device_values_log; Are in the output from this last command the values you want to delete? If so, you can use a command like: delete from Table where dateadd(month, 2, la...
