Pretty simple.
Thermostat --- OpenTherm Gateway -- Converter -- Nefit
The converter can only be connected one way to the Nefit, other than that it doesn't matter how you connect the wires. Generally it's a good idea to connect for example Red to Red, but again, it doesn't matter.

Re: Who has experience with Control Nefit via Opentherm
I have a Nefit proline heater and I am using the Honywell Round for modulation and also had to buy the Nefit OpenTherm converter.
It works very well with the gateway!

Re: Firmware version 4.0 has been released.
I've put it on the site again as http://otgw.tclcode.com/download/gateway-4.0.1.hex Thanks! As it turned out it seemed like everything needed a hard reset somehow, I also upgraded again to 4.1 without copying the settings and it all started to work again as expected. Firmware 4.2 is now available. ...

Re: Firmware version 4.0 has been released.
Is there any place i can download 4.0.1 again after upgrading to 4.1?
I am noticing that for some reason my thermostat setpoints are not fully coming through. Not sure if it's the 4.1 firmware, but I would like to test this out.

It appears that you're right that it needed another reset after flashing. Now with beta3 setting the TC value works

Re: Opentherm Gateway 4.0 alpha/beta testers wanted
That's strange, the thermostat never asks for a remote override room setpoint (MsgID 9). It should normally do that about every 20 seconds. The only theory I can come up with is that during the firmware upgrade it got Unknown-DataID responses from the boiler and decided not to send the message anym...

Re: Opentherm Gateway 4.0 alpha/beta testers wanted
I've just updated to 4.0b3 and noticed that the command TC=temperature doesn't work anymore with my Honywell round thermostate. Sending the command results in correct answer though, but the setpoint doesn't change (not even after more than two hours of waiting) TC= 20.5 TC: 20.50 PS=1 PS: 1 00000010...
