for as far as i know is the "openhaart mode" (fire place mode:) is something that the thermostat does but also with the boier it self. reading from the manual is that when enabled the internal thermostat sensor is disabled the it starts regulating on the watertemperature of the boiler litt...

Rutger, I don't know the maximum length of cable between your boiler and thermostat but
you can also hook up the gateway at the atic where you can see the cable going in to the boiler, than you can use a long serial cable between the gateway and computer.
The serial cable can be 150 meter max

Also have the gateway running for 4 weeks now.
server is upstairs in the attic and the gateway down in the metercabinet connected via serial

I was able to override the setpoint of the iSense, but I was not able to set the time. Is this a known issue, or am I doing something wrong? I've not had reports from users with an iSense thermostat whether or not setting the clock worked for them. Can you post or send me a log where you attempted ...

From the led connector cable. the black lead is the + and i connected the leds with 1K resistors to the - (orange, red, yellow, blue)
