Maybe a stupid question but does anybody know what code does a calenta give when it's in shunt mode?
Is that 1.1, 6.63 or 8.01?

Re: Possibility to log when the boiler is in "shunt" mode
I also had thought about if I was able to determine this state with the data that is already available. But still after analyzing the data and use Grafana to visualize it I'm still having trouble to determine when the boiler is in "shunt" mode. I've looked several times on the display of t...

Possibility to log when the boiler is in "shunt" mode
I have a Calenta 28C and use the OTGW for years. But because I now have the Evohome zone heating system, what I am missing is when the boiler is in shunt mode (I'm not sure what the English translation of the Dutch word "pendelen" is, but it's the state a boiler is in when the difference b...

Re: Persistent USB Devices
It seems that I found the solution. According to the RPi website . GENERAL LIMITATIONS The OTG hardware on Raspberry Pi has a simpler level of support for certain devices, which may present a higher software processing overhead. The Raspberry Pi also has only one root USB port: all traffic from all ...

Re: Persistent USB Devices
The OTGW does 3 cycles (about 3x30 sec.) And then nothing any more. Then is restarted by the embedded restart function and it works again for about 3 cycles. There is something going wrong but there are no errors in the Domoticz log shown. The solar script was working without errors for about a year...

Re: Persistent USB Devices
That's because it is stated in the Domoticz wiki about persistent USB devices. There it says it's better not to use names. So I blindly followed that :-) But it seems that I still had some trouble. Domoticz keeps crashing after a while when I have the script running that monitors the PV system and t...

Re: Persistent USB Devices
I think I already found one. Udevadm info starts with the device specified by the devpath and then walks up the chain of parent devices. It prints for every device found, all possible attributes in the udev rules key format. A rule to match, can be composed by the attributes of the device and the at...

Persistent USB Devices
I have 1 RPi with 2 USB serial devices. One is a USB to RS232 cable to log my inverter. The other one is the USB cable of the OTGW. The problem is that I think it are both pl2303 so the idVendor is both 067b and the idProduct is both 2303. The main problem is that they have both no serial number. Th...

Re: OTGW with USB doesn't work.
And again problems so hope you can help me again. When I connect my OTGW to my laptop and use the Opentherm monitor it works fine. But when I connect it to my Raspberry pi it seems I only get half of the data. Yesterday it worked fine and haven't changed anything since, but after a reboot of the RPi...

Re: OTGW with USB doesn't work.
That's the strangest, I didn't find a real cause. During the tests it seems quite unstable because the next day the results where different. I think it is mostly caused due to a bad soldering around ok1 but am not sure.

Short question. Is there a possibility to make use of the so called " OpenTherm Smart Power"? That saves me some batteries.

Now I hope someone can help me with the WIFI interface. The company (another one that the current Kiwi electronics) I bought the OTG...
