you need to make sure the OS timezone and time is set correctly, so when running on a PI go into raspi-config and set the timezone correct and make sure NTP is set correctly.

I think the problem is at the side of the switch itself, the input wires of that switch need to be swapped.

Turn the plug in the kaku switch around., or turn the KAKU switch around so that the 2 connector pin's are swapped. I like to use Filemaker for database engine, it is a real what you see is what you get db with extnted scripting and full relational setup.
You can create portals based on the relation and filtered based on anything you want...

Just import your first excel sheet to begin with and build from there.

the 4 port version IPIO-4R4I-M has No/NC contacts and the 8 port version IPIO-8R8I-M has 2 NO/NC contacts.
