Re: Special discount for Forum members on Plugwise.

I just tested this code

It works fine for the homebasic or homestart and gives 20% discount on it.
But not on other products like sense or scan.

The GASLICHT00ADEF gives 10% on sense and scan as well, So 10% on the whole shop.

Re: Plugwise network range

The more plugs ,the more stable network. we use them in a school building. U shaped, 2 floors, the "fingers' of the U are around 50mtrs long. somewere cetral in a corner of the U we have the stick and circle+, the whole buiding is covered with around 55 plugs, Most plugs are used to switch on/o...

Re: what would work best?

Quick update The currentcost system (ENVIR) is up and running. installation is easy, internet connection even easier, and de data show up nicely on internet and on google powermeter. The problem is still that our solarsystem generated power that flows back also registers as usage. There will be a so...

Plugwise and google powermeter

Anybody know if there are plans to get the plugwise data into the google powermeter utility?

there are already a lot of systems that can connect to google. Plugwise is not one of them.
Would it be useful, and are there plans in that direction ?

Re: what would work best?

We will probably try the new currect cost envy 3-phase system. It,s not very expensive has a nice interphase and works with Google power monitor. we want to show the usage of the building, so the free google power monitor would be great. We wil order it probably next week and will update later how i...

Re: what would work best?

Ok That could work But wahat will be measured when we are feeding the grid ? Will it start running back or
also count the returning energy as usage ? Maybe we will have to wait for a real Smart meter. We can measure gas/water
with previsous mentioned systems then

Re: what would work best?

It won't be Anymate. We are also operating some solarpanels (at the moment 11Kwp in the near future 26Kwp) We will return energy to the grid but that will also count as usage ( it measures the little red flashing light, that flashes also when returning power) That won't work then. Weáre now looking ...

what would work best?

I,am monitoring an controlling the power/gas usage of a school. It's a middle-size primary school and we've been working hard to reduce the overall power consumption. we've installed plugwise/solarpanels to monitor and reduce usage. Now beside the solarpanels which are already monitored i want to st...

Re: Stealth Question

I think officially not. I got my hands on a couply of stealth
by ordering via a official technical installation service (installatie buro)
They ordered them at plugwise and i got them them later .

The model changed recently, i use the older "unshielded" model.

Re: Linux/CUPS script for turning on printer

I don't know for the HP4700 but i;am sure the older HP laserprinters (4500 fi) need to cooldown after a print job, So when you switch it off it will continue to run a while. To prevent the fuser from overheating. If you would switch it off with a plugwise it could be damaged because it can,t finish ...

Reset circle with firmware 2.27

Is the reset procedure the same on the new firmware for the circle (3 sec on/off 3 times) ? In the older firmware it took like 5/6 seconds for the plugs to switch With the new firmware this is only 1 sec. Resetting in the standard way switches the cirle several times, and that's different then with ...

Re: New Plugwise Source 2.11 OTA beta Release 20091220! for firm

A short update on the latest beta install. Follow the guidelines posted here. My first try with the plugs in the original positions failed, probably the distance was a problem It took several retries and a long time. When i put all the plugs close together it worked ok Times between 2 and 9 minutes ...
