Re: Using NodeJS as MQTT client for Toon
Just noticed that Toon already has mosquitto-clients (mosquitto-pub and -sub) available for download via opkg (when connected to Eneco). Very lightweight but ofcourse only commandline so only usable in a bash script or something like that. But running a bash script from cron, which pulls some data f...

Re: Toon firmware: issues (and solutions)
The package that sets the version number, base-qb2 (actually the control file of that package) hasn't been updated. From version 4.9 to 4.10, quby have changed the name of of the base package from base-qb2-ene to base-qb2-uni. This results in the installer failing to update, since base-qb2-uni, in ...

Re: Toon firmware: issues (and solutions)
Doesn't the Toon provide you with a 'update' button on the software screen itself (while having openvpn running)? I have done my last few updates always using the official 'update' button and not using the upgrade commands in shell. Nope, i've never seen it, bij openvpn you mean remove the # in the...

Re: Using NodeJS as MQTT client for Toon
No hardware specs differences as what I am aware of. The NPM install took about 5 minutes and at least a disabled qt-gui to have enough memory. I do have some extra tiles/apps on the qt-gui running so yeah maybe I was just having a bit too much. But also running the test script with node took at lea...

Re: Using NodeJS as MQTT client for Toon
I have had a succesful test (Hello mqtt printed). However I did take A LOT OF memory. First to install the mqtt 1.14.1 using npm took so much memory I had to stop qt-gui (and keep it from restarting) to free up enough memory to let npm run. Second, when running the test script it took also some amou...

Re: Hardware: Toon metering module, "meteradapter"
I have the idea of getting a toon subscription for a month or two, would that be sufficient? I than can update Toon (v3 which I'm using now) to V4.x and also the adapter. Would that be a good idea? Probably yes..... Not sure if you will get a new meteradapter. They will probably only replace it if ...

Re: ZonOpToon alternative
The green led next to the point where the cable is plugged into the meteradapter will pulse on each S0 pulse. You could check this as I think you should have the same pulse on the LCD of your meter (only it is doing 2000 instead of 1000 imp/kwh). So it looks like the meter adapter is reading the pul...

Re: Toon as a domotica controller?
Found another URL which should be helpfull.. however I didn't manage to find the correct parameters yet. The URL is /happ_thermstat?action=updateDhwValue And should be appened with some unknown parameters. I tried &enabled=0 or &setpoint=40 already and some others. But no luck yet. The resul...

Re: Toon as a domotica controller?
Ok then this is doing something else
I have seen on another Toon that it does send a boiler off or on command to opentherm. Maybe it is supposed to turn of the whole boiler itself or not, depening if the boiler accepts the command.

Re: Toon as a domotica controller?
Try the url /happ_thermstat?action=setBoilerOnOff&state=off
I don't have opentherm so couldn't check with my Toon but I think this is the one.

Could you please update the easyEnergy app on the store? 1.2.3 is already available in the topic about easyenergy (first post) but the store still provides 1.2.0 which contains a few errors
