This kind of operations does not require a lot of computational effort. For a toon2 it's probably less than nothing.
Maybe you can make it configurable in Settings. Everybody can choose there (de)increase when using +/-

Note: I was still on 0.5.2 and never got an update via the Play Store.
When removing the app and reinstalling again I did get 0.5.6.
Weird, anyway, app is working fine as intended. Looking forward to new functionality
