Sensor Monitoring Software

I would like to monitor sensors in several different properties (empty holiday homes), they are each linked to a device that can send an SMS when triggered. The SMS includes the property reference and the identification of the zone that triggered.

I am searching for a hosted application that I can put on a remote web server and then log into from any browser to see the monitoring status + any events as they occur. Great too if I can programme different sensors to create further actions like sending an email or a further SMS to a mobile.

Is anyone working on this / already solved it / know someone that has solved it ?

I have looked at several products designed for Security Alarm Companies to use but they are not ideal
