QNX smart energy

All,

During my search to something totally different i came across something that should be of interest for us all called QNX Neutrino RTOS.

Neutrino is a Real Time Operating System which is superfast, super smal, very broad hardware support and super green.

What specially took my interest was the following:




Do i have everybody's attention now?

A complete running VMware image can be downloaded from qnx.com/products/reference-design/vmwar ... esign.html
The UI is based on flash and the engine is highly optimized for super fast running in an energy efficient mode.

I downloaded the FULL os iso (263MB) and i installed in a VMware player image and it is unbelievable ultra fast.



My wife is not to happy about it because i found a new hobby................................... again.
