Pebble Watch for iPhone and Android with SDK

Post by Bwired »

I have participated in this Pebble E-paper kickstarter project for 130$ (incl shipping) and hopefully i get this watch this year :D
Nice thing about this watch is that a SDK will be available which makes it possible to use for Home Automation!

All in/out communication goes from Pebble via bluetooth to phone (and back). Just wondering how many people have bluetooth on all the time?

Very nice project, now over 4M $ raised.
Hopefully they can live up to the expectations. I've pledged for one unit as well.

BT is always on at my phone because it's too much trouble to switch it going in and out of the car.

Very nice project, almost a must have. The only thing is, the watch looks like one of those nerd calculator watches :D

I've pledged in too, i just missed the last call for the early adopters. (i saw it jump to sold out)

Just add 15 bucks for international shipping to the pledge, if you change your pledge it wont change your pledge time (if your nr 10323, it wont jump to nr 34909 then for instance) no clue if they use first come first served.

Just received my Pebble an hour ago.
Jet black off course and first impression is good (brightness is a bit low, but still charging); setup on android was easy, downloaded firmware update and a watchface.
Test notification work ok, now to get them from the various devices.

Received mine as well :-)
Works great on the iPhone
Only bug there is that if you have 2 pushmail accounts active in notification screen the Pebble does not work.
Lets see how fast Pebble will fix this bug.
