Aiphone IS-IPDVF

Post by abl »

Recently I bought an IP videodoorstation in the US (see: http://www.aiphone.com/data/pdf/product ... 20Spec.pdf]aiphone.com/data/pdf/products/specs/IS- ... 20Spec.pdf ). I assumed that connection to this device was directly (deeplink to webaddress), but I was told to buy Aiphones proprietary software (IS-SOFT) or a hardware device to get it up and running. The problem with that is that this is rather expensive and furthermore I love to find workable workarounds.

What I can do is log in to the device (via ip).

When I push the button on this device I think a command is sent from the device, so can I sniff network traffic from this device somehow?

Do you have other ideas how I could this device to work?

If you want to capture cam images you would need the URL that allows you to see an image. Can u see images through the device web interface?

No I can't deeplink (asked Aiphone about that, but they referred to the standard software)...
