Hi,

Is it possible to add IR leds inside an existing dome camera?

Don't want to add separate IR leds unless these are available in a very compact formfactor (maybe a tiny strip?)

DJ,

It's probably possible to hack some LEDs inside the camera. But if you add IR LEDs inside the dome you run the risk of them creating reflections in the dome showing up in your image and messing it up.

Any suggestions for small IR illuminators?
(preference: small strip that I can mount on the ceiling?)

With these you can surround the dome at any angle:

Kinda build your own strip.
