Wattcher

Post by Darwusch »

Hi, at my work (Eneco) there is a contest where we could win a Wattcher. It's a wireless device to measure the current power usage in your house.
http://www.wattcher.nl
It looks pretty much like the home-made projects mentioned in this forum.
It's also for sale for about 129,-.

Tech specs say it sends on 868mhz.. might be able to catch that using rfxcom... maybe Bert can tell you some more about it?

Has anybody succeeded in reading out the 868mhz signals from the Wattcher?
I would like to read-out those signals on my computer.
