EnyMate collect electricity, gas and water usage

Post by MindBender »

It lets you see your energy use in realtime on your PC, your mobile phone or on it's own wireless display. You can upload and store data on the website and examine your energy use history using advanced graphing capabilities.

EnyMate can be used at home or the office and works with both analog and digital meters. Enymate uses Bluetooth to communicate with PC, mobile phone and it's own periferals. It comes with a USB Bluetooth dongle for your PC.
A Mac version of the software is in the works but not available at this time.

Sounds like an interesting system / Klinkt als een interessant systeem.

I have a very old electricity meter/counter, can I use EnyMate?
Enymate works with all electricity meters used in the Netherlands be it rotary number wheels, a spinning dial or a blinking light. The age of the meter doesn't matter.

Komt binnenkort.

Yep
I stopped the script for now :-) and placed this Topic in another forum.
Lets see what kind of sensors the all are, and if its possible to interface with de device or data.

EnyMate collect electricity, gas and water usage

Post by Marcootje »

I have now for just over a week two devices of Enymate connected (gas and electra, the water sensor is available but didn't recieve it yet) but I do find some strange difference. This difference I already emailed to the guys of Enymate and they are working on it to get fixed. The difference is that Enymate measures some days less useage of power then my PlugWise devices are showing, instead of always more. That's strange because Enymate is measuring on the meter. But anyway I'm still monitoring and Enymate is I getting better in time I guess.
A plugin for Homeseer would be very welcome, so there's just one application which can monitor everything.

That is strange, because you don't have the plugwise circles everywhere!
In my situation the total of plugwise is always less.
Are you measuring the total power of the rotating wheel or by the flashing LED?
