Just to inform you

The stichting WijWillenZon starts a new and last action to delicer solarpanels to the people.
Due to the success of the last action it's possible to offer the sets now for an even lower prices then before

Thx for the tip.

I'm considering "Pakket A" or 2x "Pakket D". I can place them on my garage which has a roof side of 3m*9m. So placement next to eachother would be the best (and only) solution.

With the previous action i had te same dillema. I did choose 2x pakket-D (3 panels)
The reason i did that was :
- Cheaper
- Easier to install (did it myself)
- When 1 converter fails i still will have 3 panels in production.
- Not sure if wij willen zon was reliable. (they are)

Now again am i facing these same points again but now i have two extra points to consider
- The color of the panels (waf factor. Pakket D panels are black and the others are blue)
- Pakket A gives me more return of investment for the same amount of space on the roof

Choices, so many choices. sigh!

@Bram,

What is your experiance about the power output of the system for the type "D".
They give a power output 484,5 kWh a you, do you get this?
I like to hear it.
Regards,

@Dieuwert-Jebbe

I have 2 pakkets type D already on my roof.
That means 6 panels of 190Wp each. One inverter per 3 panels.
I made a rig to measure the output of these 6 panels together with a energy (opbrengst) meter.
On a sunny cloudless day i recorded 1050W as the highest peak input. Most of the time it's around 950-1000W at the same conditions.
It seems enough to cover my daytime usage at the moment because the meter is running backward now.

I'm also willing to invest in solar panels. BUT:
During the day when I'm at work, my house consumes only 200wH/Hour. At this time the panels are generating the most energy. If I order for exemple pakket A the system generates a lot more than I use so I will be delivering power to the net. (I don't have a feraris meter..)
Is that smart or should I buy less panels?
What does saldering mean? If I deliver 2000KwH back to the net which is below the salerings-grens, does that mean that I will get the same amount of energy back without having to pay extra?
If this is the case I would go for system A (1410WP).
If saldering means that I get a small anount back for the returned energy and having to pay full amount for the needed energy in the evening I maybe should buy set D (570 Wp)

I have only 2 days to decide so I need your help.

"Salderen" means:
Your solarpanels deliver in a year 2000kWh.
You directly use during the moment that the panels are delivering in total 100kWh
So there's 1900kWh delivered back at the net.

Your total usage during a year is 3000kWh
The energycompany sends you a bill for 1100kWh (theoretically, most of them will send you a bill for 3000kWh and a month later they send you a credit for 1900kWh)

Salderen is allowed (by law) for a maximum of 5000kWh (some companys stick at 3000kWh), or the other way around, i'm not sure.
Problem is that there is no guarantee that this is going to stay.

Is salderen also taking care of taxes and 'netbeheer/leveringskosten'?

just to make sure: As long as I don't give more than 3000kWh back to the net for later use it is exactly the same as a meter that counts backwards (Feraris wheel)?
No matter what energy supplier

Wikipedia explanation salderen (Dutch)

Keep in mind that the period between your yearly bills, is the period for which the calculation is being done.
It's also smart to check the meter readings that are reported to your energysupplier. They regularly mess it up.

If you deliver more than you use (a year) then you will get a reasonable price from your supplier (whatever that will be...).

Not sure if you've already ordered, but...
Prices of solarpanels are still dropping like....

If you wait until the end of the winter, prices will probably be the same (or even better) than the WWZ-offer (but then you can buy at a normal dealer, with better service and more proven products).
Your solarpanels won't produce a reasonable ammount of energy until, let's say march / begin of april. So that shouldn't be the reason to buy them now.

A few notes on this.

- If you order them now they are delivered around february
- If you wait till they get cheaper and cheaper then you will be into a loop and ending up never buying them. Did you have the same issues when buying a computer. Probaly not because you have one.
- I bought my first set from WWZ earlier. The second set is indeed cheaper then my first set but the energy already produced cleared the difference mostly
- The quality of the panels is the same as those from a normal dealer (some have a better known brand but are also far more expensive)
- The Steca inverters of Pakket D are a well known design (from philips). The rights and producting is sold to a german company who has a large market share. This inverter is also offered by dealers
- The Chint inverters are not so well known here but all specs are available, enough waranty years on them, well dimensioned for the task and in use by the hunderdthousends or more.
- Solar energy is already more than 40 year 'proven' technology. The weak parts like the 'OK4E inverters' are sifted out early already.

Today finally finished the installation of the first WWZ PV project.
All is working fine.

On there website you can still order.
I'm thinking of 6 extra.

I've ordered my second batch (16 panels) and this time i went to put my roof completly full.
Two weeks ago i installed those along with the 6 i already had and the meter is running backward fast, creating a nice buffer for the winter months. :D

Btw, there is a nice logger for the chint converter available. (fp4all.com/index.php?main_page=product_ ... cts_id=188)

The production of this day of the 16 panels, 18,1KWh

WOW...That looks good 18,1kWh
I wish there was more space available on my roof.

What can the logger do more than plugwise?

Hi Bram
Nice array! :)

did you install an extra converter or replaced the old one with a bigger one?
I have now 5 Panels and want to install extra 5 and thinking about replacing the old (1200) converter
