It looks like you are using ext-js for the interface? a good basis for good looking software! Can I ask what language you are programing in?

Woops didn't see this before. Indeed I'm using ext-js I like it, although debugging is some times really hard.
I'm programming in the python language.

I've been busy during the holidays, here's a screenshot of my plugwise power statistics (per device). Everything you see is generated without using "the source" running on my Synology DS-207+ (Linux)

Looking very nice, I suppose you'll use your app pol to get the power usage. With the -w option we get the current power usage. Can you already read the total usage (counter) of the plug without source?

If this is not the case then when the device wich is connected to the plug uses more between the interval you pol it you don't see that usage.

I can read the power buffers from the circle's.
Been busy reverse engineering this part these holidays. So no information is missed.
I will post some details on these buffers in the plugwise forum when I'm finished writing the documentation about it.

Very nice Maarten and running on the Synology!
And also again one step further reversing the Plugwise circle :-)
Can you now read total power from a circle when ever you want?
Looking forward on your explaining post.

Pieter I've posted some details in the plugwise forum, I hope it is usefull and clear.
I cannot read the totals whenever I want, I calculate the totals like this:

Code: Select all

                    # costs
                    query = "select SUM(plugwise_log.value) FROM plugwise_log where plugwise_log.device_id = %s AND HOUR(plugwise_log.logtime) BETWEEN 7 AND 23" % device.id
                    queryresults = conn.queryAll(query)
                    peakusage = queryresults[0][0]

                    query = "select SUM(plugwise_log.value) FROM plugwise_log where plugwise_log.device_id = %s AND HOUR(plugwise_log.logtime) NOT BETWEEN 7 AND 23" % device.id
                    queryresults = conn.queryAll(query)
                    offpeakusage = queryresults[0][0]

                    costs = (peakusage * 0.2312) + (offpeakusage * 0.1720)
                    costs = round(costs,2)
The energy tariff information is still fixed, still working on a configuration menu.

Hmm I don't think "the source" takes that in consideration. Looking at the energy settings.

Nuon site says this:

Uitleg standaard tarieftijden stroom*

Continutarief: 24 uur per dag hetzelfde tarief per kilowattuur (kWh)

Nothing about official celebration days.

Eneco does have celebration days included [:)]

Guess I'll include some option for the calculate celebration days.

ESSENT:
http://www.essent.nl/content/thuis/prod ... tijden.jsp
