Ruud, the Plugin can handle both serial and Ethernet connected interface.
In other words, it needs a (virtual) COM port or an IP address and port.
There are several ways to accomplish one of those 2 options.
The best option for your situation is for you to decide.

@erik: the interface can receive all Visonic sensors, it's not made for keyfobs only.

That's right, but you can connect it to a serial device server for RS232 -> Ethernet. That's what i did.

You are right, there is only RS232 available, but if you connect the Alphatronics to a RS232 to Ethernet device you can talk directly on TCP-IP level without any commdriver. The Homeseer plugin has this options.

And now the interface ;-)
I think that Marcel (waakzaamwonen) is on a Holiday, he don't call back or answering mail.

Ah, this also means that you wil have a free channel in the rfxcomm device which will give the posibility to use a 310MHz receiver for US X10 devices.

@digit: Are the received signal strengths written to a database or otherwise made visible ?

Not yet, i'm waiting for user input on additional functionality.
1st version of the Plugin will be very basic, but if there's enough interest, lots of things can be added.
