Looks like a nice solution!

How powerful is the motor, and can you use any cilinder with this lock?

There is no manual on that page, is there any electronic detail on this?

And when you found the one you are looking for have a look at this site for pricing:
http://www.GHO-ONLINE.NL I once bought some 3 point locks there and found they were the wrong ones, very easily replaced and a price that is very competitive.

Regards, Maarten.

@ Alders, can you use the BKS like a normal lock. Without power, using the cilinder ?

Just like Chak I've been using the Abus but with Keymatic controller, but I'm not happy with it. I've been looking at motorized 3 point locks with the ability to use regular key cilinders because I want to keep my system with a single key for the whole house.

After chatting with some people at the "Sleutel en Slotenhuis" in Rotterdam (http://www.sleutel-slotenhuis.nl) they showed me the HvN locking system. So far it seems it is a fast system, at least much faster then the Abus solution. It has an emergency feature, and a good interface for integrating with other systems. And most important... a mechanism for checking if the door is really locked!

I have attached the product pdf, and the price overview they sent to me (sorry both in Dutch)

Looks very good the HVN (3 point) electrical lock, but I'm I right that you need a 12 volt connection at doorlock level?

Yes, a 12V connection is needed. HVN has a special transformer for that, which is listed in the quotation.

I already have a power connection next to the door because of the Keymatic interface for the Abus lock.

Found some extra documentation from a different supplier: http://www.blankestijn-beveiliging.nl/d ... 70-971.pdf
