No the ldr are on the outside of the machine
i glue them on the machine.

And what for i/o have you connect to the machine, and is it for controlling the machine or only for watch the status.

Hello,

For the washing machine i use 3 digital inputs
i use it only for status watching .
I have a Display in the living room

On this display my wife can see the status of the washing machine.
So she dont have to walk 2 stairs to see if the wash is ready
