New Ethernet Doorbell

Post by Digit »

Today I finished making a better doorbell - one that's Ethernet enabled :D

It feels better, looks better and performs better! And it was fun to do of course...
I've posted some articles on my blog on how and why I did it this way and what this doorbell can do:

Nice... You should sell them as a kit! I would definitely buy one!

Well, you can buy almost all components here: http://jeelabs.com/
Add 2 LEDs, a doorbell and your kit is complete

Robert, i have try to look at your site but i'm getting a 500 error (maybe something on my side).

But i have al little question, are you using the DHCP function from the EtherCard Library or a static IP?

I use a static IP.

Maybe you could design an exploit to do that remotely :) The doorbell is networked you know...
