Additional user interfaces

Post by Digit »

Hi,

Currently I'm exploring new ways of creating user interfaces for my system. This time not the "one screen does it all" approach, but more locally oriented (controlling stuff nearby).
Today a 2.8" TFT LCD with touchscreen arrived; it's one of those things you can easily attach to an Arduino.
What I want to accomplish is to create some sort of User Interface on these Touch LCD's and have a few of them scattered througout the house at strategic places.
This evening I did some tests with the first LCD that arrived and I actually like it so far:

I bought it here: http://www.antratek.nl/Shields.html
But actually it's from Seeed Studio: http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/28-tft ... th=132_134
And you need an Arduino or comparable.
