Reset pulse switch on-off

Post by Wima »

I've got an event switches OFF all lightning (when going to bed) and is controled by a pulse ON-OFF switch.(KAKU AWST-8802)

When switching OFF (puls OFF) it works fine, but when I want to switch it OFF again another day it does not work
because the last position of the switch is still OFF so i have to first switch it ON and then again OFF, then it works.

Is there a way to reset this switch (position of the switch) ?

are you using a "home controller" ?
then you can make a event or use a script to do what you described.

Vincent,

I don't get it. I use an event to do this (Switching all the lights OFF in HomeSeer) but how to reset the switch?
When I after pushing the OFF side of the switch make an event to set the switch to ON, ofcourse
all my lightning turns back ON.

I have had the same issue and when the switch turns to off the event is setting it to on again so i can turn it off the next day :-)

Ah sorry i didn't fully understood, i thought you were only using X10 devices without a controller.
