CM11 vs CM15Pro

Four a couple of years i have been using a CM11 combination with HS2
I have a CM15Pro lying around for a while so i thought lets give it a try
In HS I have a number of events including one to dim all the lights to a certain value.
With the CM11 all the lights dim at the same time, like parallel. The CM15Pro seems to process the commands one by one (serial) which is giving a less experience in the living room.
Is this a setting or should I just stay with the CM11?
