My first marmitek

Post by labium »

i bought a visonic powermax pro with marmitek xm10 controller, the visonic works, but starting with the marmitek part, my xm did nothing at start. why ? because of a bad rj11 cable from marmitek. after replacing this wire ,after reading the posts here , the xm10 works.

but

my am12 device gives a loud klick on the off command from visonic and nothing happens on the on command. , the light of the xm10 blinks, so he sends something, but why does the am12 not respond to the on command ?

a marmitek light micromodule works fine with the visonic powermax at the same outlet location. the marmitek tttl interface is on the same outlet.
a second appliance module has the same problem.

is it the visonic ? if i program it as a other device as light the problem stills exist

visonic powermax has three possibiltys to send:

disable 3 phase default and which i used
3 phase 50 hz
3 phase 60 herz

i connected the brown wire of the appliance module to 1 wire of the ac pair 9brown, incoming and ougoing ac to one threeway station and the blue to the other incoming ac and the black to the outkoming other ac wire.

or is it that apliance modules need an other on signal as light modules ?

You have to configure the Powermax also for 1 way or 2 way devices (this is a dipswitch). Maybe this has something to do with the problem. The marmitek modules you are using are probably 1way.
