i have a problem with the am12w. i connected the 2 wires from the power input side to the brown and blue wire of the am12w, i connected the black an d brown wire from the am12w to the to output wires. if i have an appliance connected to the output i only hear a loud click with x10 off signal. with the x10 on signal nothing happens. but with no applinace connected i hear a click with the on ande off command but nu chance in the elctrical cirquit is made.
the test situation is seen in the attached picture. the two inside white wires are from the power input, the two outside wires are output.

Try connecting your appliance between BLUE and black.

yes that is the solution, it works.
thanks , it beats my logic but it works .
i made the fault that i thougt the black wire is the blue wire after the switch , but the black wire is the brown wire behind the switch, the blue wire is the not switched wire
