CTX35 won't receive signals from TM13

Post by ludom »

Since a few weeks I have a the following x10 stuff:
- Xanura CTX35
- Marmitek TM13
- Marmitek LM12
- Marmitek MS13E

I read a lot on the internet and I configured my modules on the following way:
- TM13, configured on housecode 'P' (for relaying wireless commands to power-line)
- LM12, Configured on housecode 'P' and unitcode '2'
- MS13E, Motion part configured on housecode 'P' and unitcode '2'

When there is motion, the LM12 module is powered on, as it should be (works fine!) but my CTX35 won't receive this signal, even the led's on the CTX35 won't blink! But when i send a X10 command to power on the LM12 with homeseer (P2 ON), it works fine.... (leds are also blinking).

My question is, how can I receive the commands that are send from the MS13e on my CTX35? do I have to configure my CTX35 so it can receive the TM13 commands?

I plugged in the TM13 and CTX35 into the same outlet, so the distance won't be a problem.

Your setting looks OK, you should be receiving motion X10 with the CTX35!

Yes, that's what i also thought... But there is no sign of activity on the CTX35 (even the leds won't blink) when the motion sensor is sending x10 out..

Hello,

Have you test the ctx if the communication is correct
Here you find test software for the ctx

I am still facing with this problem. I still can't receive signals with my CTX35 from my TM13.

Is it true my CTX35 interface is broken?? I don't hope so! i paid a lot of pocket money for it...

You use homeseer with the CTX35 to send the commands which do work? Then your device is definitely not broken.

In my knowledge, the PMIX35 and CTX35 are the same (ok, almost).

To read signals on the CTX35/PMIX35 you have to trigger the device to send the received X10 data to your comport with the $>{port}RQ{checksum]# command.
For example, on PMIX35 send: $>9000RQCE#

The Xanura testsoftware as mentioned above does this every 0,5 second, reads everything over your powerline within range. Did you already install it?
