How to test XM10E

Post by glabbeek »

For my garden I use a Rain8 module to control the valves. The Rain8 receives X10 signals from a 'Powerhouse' XM10E module.

All worked fine until a few days ago.

The red led on the XM10E flashes when it receives a X10 signal (that works)

The green led on the Rain8 bruns steady green (this means that there is correct connection to the XM10E and the 24V is connected correct).

The green led on the Rain8 should flash when it recieves a signal from the XM10E, but that does not happen.

I know the XM10E receives a signal, but is there a way to check if it sends a signal to the Rain8?

Regards,
Willem-Bram
