MetdeZon Zonnepanelen voor Bwired

Post by Bwired »

Finally i'm starting with solarpanels (zonnepanelen) on the bwired roof :)
I found a company "Met de Zon" who delivers nice set for a very good price.
http://www.zonnepanelen.nl

I'm starting with 5 solarpanels 240 watt Tendens (dutch made) zonnepanelen.nl/panelen/zonnepaneel-240 ... ndens.html
These panels measure 166 x 998 x 40, 22kg

The converter will be the:
SMA sunnyboy 1200 omvormer + Bluetooth piggyback

Its easy for me to upgrade later

-3000.html.

I'm looking forward to see your progress. I own a system of 10 x 185 Watt and satisfied with the power delivered. I hope to publish my data also real-time in the future but first some other projects.

Such a shame that my roof location is the worst for solar panels ;-(

Sounds good.
My panels will also be delivered in twee week.
I'm looking for a company that can install the panels for me.

I witnessed how they placed the panels on my roof last year in November. It was not the best weather at that moment but it was a hard job. I was happy that I outsourced the placement of the panels. The person who did the install told me that a flat roof is even more work. You also have to got all the tiles on the roof.

yep the tiles is a dirty job.....but somebody got to do it :-)
I use the clickfit system http://www.click-fit.nl which works great.
I'm also lucky, i dont have a flat roof, but i have a big dormer (dakkapel) of almost 6 meters where i can stand on.
The 5 solarpanels fit exactly above the dormer.
Downside is that i can place less panels there, i have 2 roofs to compensate.

any help is welcome...when I do it by myself. :)
I have a separate group available..

I wil check how much work it is.
Since the roof is flat there is special frame that need to be installed.

Well if you do it yourself there is no rush, you can do one each day (if the weather is nice in the evening hours) or just one in a weekend. I know you want them up and running asap but there is no real need.

I've been looking at the solar panels as well but am not sure if I could install them myself. Some pictures of the installation process would be nice. Especially how to connect things up.
