Hello,

I would like to measure pulses from my energy meter with SO or S0 connection. Is anyone familiar with easy to use software and how I can connect this signal to my pc?

Thanks!
Alex

You can do it with a RFXMeter with pulse counter (as I do), or create something DIY like a 1-Wire DS2423 (which are not produced anymore and no replacement, BTW!).
As software you can for example use HomeSeer with RFXCOM Plugin or Domotiga or DIY.
Many choices... all the information to make the right one can be found on this forum.

You can also make something yourself based on a Arduino, like nijlstroom.nl/index.php/lang-nl/duurzaa ... gging.html or
arduino.cc/playground/Main/EEM12L-32AKW ... Monitoring

I am working on something at the moment based on a JeeNode and a MCP23008 expander unit.

Thanks for your quick responses. I will read into the Arduino pages. I am familiar with the RFXCom, but was looking for something less expensive.
