OK. But perhaps the threshold should be set to 5. If you can't detect that I'm a spammer the first 5 posts, what makes you think you will do that in the next 5? ;)

No serious, we wanna keep the forum clean.

Btw setting is 10 postings bedore a member is free to post and mail.
Like digit is telling, we get a lot of spam, and also spammers who try to act as users with normal postings in the beginning :)

Nothing is more annoying than spam, so I see that you want to protect yourself. And now that I'm over the magical 10 post limit, it's not a problem for me anymore (but it was rather annoying when it lasted).

This is a great place to discuss european home automation, and I plan on staying. ;)

Hi Moskus.

I am wondering, are you the same Moskus as on the HomeSeer forum? (same avatar too)

What you'll get is messages like this, no real addition to the forum, but just posts for the posts as I'd like to be able to send pms to Lennard about the opentherm gateway...
I think it's good to have a "spam filter", don't get me wrong, this is just another 10% closer to my fist PM ;-)

I agree but I want to ask him where to send the PIC to for programming, I guess he would not be happy to put his full address online ;)

He can pm you, but you are able to PM now, your account is updated
The 10 postings is just a way to handle the Spam. This morning Rene had to remove a lot af spam again (wannabee spams :-) ) if we see members are doing good things we normally open up acccounts directly or they can always ask us.
Have fun with the OTG :)
