HS3 - "Technology Address" ?

Post by DJF3 »

Team,

I've been searching everywhere, including the HS3 documentation -- without result.

Q: What is the "Technology Address" in HS3?

- What is it used for
- Why can't I find so little information about this field?

Cheers

The technology address is nothing more then the combination of the device address and the "old" X10 housecode/devicecode. See the first tab of a device, It is called Address and Code.

The Address is often set by a plugin that owns the device. The Code can normally be set by the user.

Some script function can use the device Address, the device Code or a combination (the device Technology Address) for identifying devices.
