Team,
In HS2 I was able to create an event that had 2 conditions
- time after 01:00 AND time before 07:00
Another event would run this event "If other event conditions are TRUE"
In HS3, I cannot start the event conditions with "IF time AFTER". There's only on/after sunrise conditions.. Why is that?
First "The time is" condition
Q: Why can't I use "Time After x:xx" as the first condition?
"AND" "The time is" condition
NOW I can select "Time After x:xx" ?
Any workarounds? Tips?
HS3 event "time before" + "time after" ?

Running HS3PRO on PC with Z-Wave / OpenTherm / Plugwise / RFXcom / MQTT / XAP400 / Logitech Media Server and Squeezelite on PI`s
Re: HS3 event "time before" + "time after" ?
Won't the event run every 5 minutes between 1-7am?

Yes But that is just to let you see how it works. Normally i would use a device trigger to start the event

And that is why you need another condition as well. Just testing between a start and end time would potentially trigger every second.
Maybe if you explain what you are trying to achieve we can better help you.

Re: HS3 event "time before" + "time after" ?
For example: An event that is triggered only between 22:00 and 08:00
In HS3 if I do a
............ IF motion livingroom
............ AND time is > 22:00
............ OR <condition>
Now my only choices are It feels like I have missed a basic "HS3 thing"... Any idea?

Re: HS3 event "time before" + "time after" ?
I think you need another AND IF instead of OR IF.
Re: HS3 event "time before" + "time after" ?
Even though I didn't want to do this I started using an extra device..
2 Events set a "NIGHT time" device to ON or OFF. This I can now use in other events without having to worry about ">20:00 and <07:00".
Thanks for the help!
