Homeseer3 web interface unresponsive?

Post by DJF3 »

Team,

When connecting to Homeseer 3 over the network (LAN or VPN) the webinterface quite often becomes unresponsive. This is what I see:
hs3 web interface

Screen Shot 2015-10-18 at 10.35.55 .png (18.95 KiB) Viewed 5206 times
Note the spinning wheel.. Web access on the local HS3 server works fine.

To fix it I have to click the address bar and press enter. Sometimes, just after pressing enter I see the page it's supposed to show and then it starts loading.
Happens with: Firefox, Chrome (both OSX)

Has anyone seen this?

Same problem here. Already set up a fresh HS3 hoping it would solve this issue but no luck either.
It's very annoying especially on a system with fast SSD.
Now trying the Linux version but it seems to have the same issue.

Check using F12 to see if something is holding up the browser reload. I have had issues with myhomeseer. So i disabled it :-) Do you use http://homeseer.domain.com or http://192.168.1.1 ?
Running HS3PRO on PC with Z-Wave / OpenTherm / Plugwise / RFXcom / MQTT / XAP400 / Logitech Media Server and Squeezelite on PI`s

It seems more related to filters taking too long to load.
Without filters it loads in a decent speed but filters bring it to a halt and especially in Chrome (OSX) lots of blank screens that need refresh time after time.
It's not only filters because also in the plugin management the Ajax calls sometimes stall.
