Horstmann HRT4-ZW event controlling setpoint

I got the thermostat fully working, showing the right status from switch and thermostat, I can switch on/off from within HS and can change the setpoint from the thermostat via the Zwave thermostat screen.
The problem is that I want to create some kind of schedule, where HS can control the day/night settings for me.

When I try to create an event, Zwave thermostat, select my thermostat and select "setpoint" then press "check changes"
I get a dropdown for setpoint and value, however the drop down for setpoint is empty and the value always jumps back to the lowest.

It seems that the value list contains all possible setpoints from my min to max setting.

1. Any ideas what is wrong?

2. Is there no plugin or better solution for creating a thermostat scheduling?
