Email on HS / setup page settings
Sending Server (SMTP): smtp.gmail.com:25
Receiving Server (POP): localhost:110
Use MAPI for E-Mail: NO
SMTP Username/pwd : invullen
De default to/ftom/subject/message

Why would you configure Homeseer to use 'smtp.gmail.com:25' as sending server if you can use a secure connection by pointing to 127.0.0.1:25?

No idea, i didn't think of it either
Probaly some leftover from a previous try from a few year back. In the beginning i had email working via HomeSeer but that got broken in time and didn't work any more. (gmail started to use secure connections only for pop)
