HS3 - Variable Length vs 32 bit?

Hi

I am migrating to HS3, and have an issue with my RFXCOM LAN Transceiver. I have a very old model, the one listed here:

Anyway. I have an issue in HS3:

- If I use 32-bit mode my Visonic sensors work, but my RFXmeter/RFXpower sensors dont and I also seem to be missing hydro sensors on my Oregon Scientific sensors
- If I use Variable Length mode my Visonic sensors dont work.

I dont seem to have this issue in HS2. I use Variable Length mode in HS2 and everything works like a charm.

Am I doint something wrong?
