Hi Guys,

Dirk van de Broek has a special this week :
DENVER TRC-1490 Indoor/outdoor temp/humidity for €10,-
according to the technical specs its 433. Outdoor unit has 3 channels.
Was thinking of picking up 3 of these since it seems pretty cheap.

Please check chapter 2.2.2 in the RFXtrx User Guide for the list of supported sensors.
Denver is not in this list and therefore not sure this sensor is supported.

Thanks for your reply.
I might just pick one up and open it up. Not sure if they develop their own chips or if they just assemble them and stick their name in it.
€10 is a pretty good deal if they work.

My rfxtrx sometimes reports the remote sensor as a Rubicson temperature/humidity sensor and at other times as a Viking temperature/humidity sensor. When it reports as a Rubicson, the temperature is correct, but the humidity is unbelievably low (below 20%). When it reports as a Viking, I get more credible humidity values, but then the temperature is way too high (58°C). As what type of sensor does it work correctly for you?

Unfortunately, I had to return the unit since the range was very poor. As soon as I moved the outdoor unit outtoors, all communication between the rfxcom and outdoor sensors stopped.
