using harrison rail with rfxcom transmitter

Post by dhageman »

Hello,

A few weeks ago I received a harrison neta 12 rail.
I am currently in the proces to send rf via a rfxcom transmitter to the rail, but no matter what I do with the script the curtain does not go anywhere.

Here I want to explain what I have done so far.
The rail is working with the rf transmitter delivered with the curtain so that is not the issue. The switch setting in the transmitter is
1c,2a,3a,4b,5c,6b,7b,8b

Where 1 is the 8th bit and c is the 3th switch setting and so on.

I started the rftransmitter software that came with the rftransmitter and enable harrison mode than went to the tab "Harrison", selected switches according to the setting in the rftransmitter from the rail and all works well.

But,

When I select 32 or 48 bits mode I am still not able to get the rail to work.
I have out of frustration even tried every housecode but no way jose.

I am obviously stuck here. Could somebody help me getting the rail to work using 48 bit mode with the use of house codes?

Regards,

Douwe

Douwe,

The middle position must not be used.
For a detailed description of the switch positions and the X10 codes see the attached document.

It will work now! Let the forum now how all is working, I have the same Harrison rails!
Tip for Bert: grey out the middle option in the next software release :-)

Oke it works, but I had to break the warranty seal on the motor.
I will write Ivo from Harrison a mail regarding the rf configuration on the motor. Maybe he can configure the dipswitches as a service.

It also looks that you have a different harrison.pdf.
The bottom lines are different and that's what confused me at the beginning.

Thanks for your quick response,

Douwe
