Visonic device types

Can i distinguish the different types of Visonic wireless devices using Powercode by looking at a specific bit in one of the received bytes ? I see that the demo program does this when running the code in variable length mode, but not in Visonic mode. Why or what bit?

The packet layout is fully described in the documentation that is delivered with the receiver.

I can not see any documentation on the difference between types.

I want to see if it is a motion sensor or a door sensor....

You can also check the code of the Receiver program, in that code you can exactly see what is possible with received bytes patterns.

The RFXCOM Visonic document I'm refering to is not available on the web site but delivered with the receiver.
