Click on/Click off door/windows sensor works?

Post by iamjwk »

I bought a AMST-606 KlikAan/KlikUit (ClickOn/ClickOff) at the Dutch Gamma store for 13 euros to try it on RFX receiver.

Should the signal of this device be received by the RFXcom receiver? I do not see any signal with the receiver program.

This type of sensors can't be received by the RFXCOM receiver.
Only the KlikOn-KlikOff "lighting" transmitters and remotes can be received.

The KlikOn-KlikOff security sensors transmits very long packets for a long time. It is therefore not a good idea to use this type of sensors when using X10 security sensors, X10 motion sensors or X10 remotes. The chance for data collisions is too high!

what about the new updates for the receiver. Is it still not possible to receive the AMST-606 with the rfxcom receiver?

what kaku devices are supported today?

Last update: this sensor works with the latest firmware for RFXCOM receivers. I bought some at the Dutch Gamma store for around 13 euro. Be aware that the visonic sensors are better as they give a signal each hour, while the kaku only sends status changes. But may be good enough for several cases.
