how to start

HI All,

Infected from this site i bought the rfxcom reciever with ethernet and a power sensor and a optical sensor and installed it today.
The Hardware looks fine i configured an ip adress and installed the comport redirector.
When i do a test with cpr manager its working, great so far but...

Whats next, how do i retrieve data from the reciever, what protocol, i do not know how to start from where i am now.
I installed Homeseer but need a plugin i cannot find and i cannot find documentation thats help me further.

any help is welcome!! what is the next step how can i see data from the reciever?
