Hello

Is the AE Blyss protocol exhibiting the same problem? I am mostly referring to motion sensors 433mhz as all their door sensor are for 868 alarm type technology. In other word can we use these motion sensors for triggering scenes?
Thanks

For the list of supported devices please see chapter 2.2 in the RFXtrx433 User Guide.pdf available on the RFXCOM download page.

The KaKu AEX-701 signal repeater re transmits signals for selected KaKu transmitters and it also does that for 2-3 seconds (avg 12 times) for each received code.

I wish i have seen this topic before but i found out the hard way.
They do work from kaku indeed but the delay is to big to work as a proper security system before it can trigger an event and send the signal to the lights.
Ah well, just got 2 of them.

I just read this topic again and found some info regarding the MS13 sensor and the ability to tell day/night status and found the following in the manual

Code: Select all

SETTING THE SENSOR FOR DAY/NIGHT USE

Press the <unit/off> button once.
The LED will flash briefly.
Press the <house/on> button and hold it down.
The green LED behind the PIR lens will light up.
3 seconds later the LED will display the current mode (the factory setting is 1).
1 flash when the motion detector is on during the day, light/dark sensor off.
2 flashes when the motion detector is off during the day, light/dark sensor off.
3 flashes when the motion detector is on during the day, light/dark sensor on. <----------- Thats the one i need
4 flashes when the motion detector is off during the day, light/dark sensor on.
Release the <house/on> button.
Now press the <house/on> button the number of times that corresponds to the mode that you want
to set. On the last press hold down the button (e.g. for mode 3 press the <house/on> button 3 times
and hold the button down on the third press).
After 3 seconds the LED will display the new setting and the LED will switch off.

The new settings must be giving during the burning of the green led, and not after that. It now seems to be working fine

Hi Bert,

I have a KAKU AWMT-003.
Is it possible to use this "switch" to send an ON/OFF command to the RFXCom receiver or does it have the same
behaviour like the AC door/window sensors ?
Does the AWMT-003 also send so much signal packages ?

Regards, Fischi

The switch transmits a limited number of packets and can be used.
